Compounding Interest

If you’ve been a part of a church, you know it doesn’t take long before someone asks you to step up and serve in the nursery, be a warm body in a kid’s classroom, or fill some other hole it seems like they have.  In those moments it feels like the church just wants something from you.  The truth is, having a Personal Ministry is far more important than simply filling in a hole or stepping up to do something.  In fact, it’s in the midst of Personal Ministry that God wants to stretch your faith, and choosing not to say yes to opportunities that come your way could cause you to miss out on something important God has for your life.
