When is the last time you were uncomfortable? American society is built on the idea that we can and should be comfortable. But sometimes comfort isn’t a good thing. In fact, sometimes it’s when we’re uncomfortable that God does His greatest work in us.
We live in an on-demand world that encourages us to live our dreams, pursue our pleasures, and spend our lives on ourselves. In other words, we’re encouraged to live me-first. But what if me-first doesn’t actually allow us to really live our lives? What if me-first takes our lives from us?
