Community Groups

NEXT is the spiritual growth path for adults at Community Church. In its simplest form, we define spiritual growth as movement. As a result, we also believe that, no matter where someone is at spiritually, we all have a NEXT step.  We believe that the individual is responsible for their spiritual growth and the church’s role is to support it.

STARTING POINT (8 sessions)

Whether you are new to faith, curious about God, or coming back to church after some time away, Starting Point is a place where the foundations of faith are explored and questions are encouraged and valued. Starting Point is a foundational group here at Community Church.

This interactive course is designed to help readers understand the New Testament’s origins, context and how to begin to engage with its writings.

For centuries, Christians have engaged in several spiritual practices that reflect how God engaged with people throughout scripture. We believe God uses these time-honored practices to shape and mold us in the image of Christ. In this group you will engage in different types of prayer, meditation, Scripture contemplation, the art of silence and more.

Learning your spiritual gifts, passions, personality will help point you toward a more God-filled and personally fulfilling life.

Without a plan, parents usually default to Quick-Fix Parenting rather than Intentional Parenting. This study by Doug and Kathy Fields is here to help.

Jesus talked more about finances than He did about heaven. In this six-session workshop, participants will learn how to steward the gifts God brings in way that leads to freedom, joy and generosity.

Once a year we offer a weekend marriage retreat that focuses on strengthening marriages and, as a result, families. Our resourcing comes by way of North Point Community Church and their marriedpeople.org online tools.
